Senior Marketing Account Manager
REMOTE POSITION
TRAVEL WITHIN LOWER NEW YORK STATE WHEN NEEDED
Our client, a national energy company, is looking for a senior marketing account manager to join their company in a freelance to hire position. In this role the qualified candidate will foster and build client relationships by delivering best-in-class marketing campaign results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with Business Development, Program teams and Program Directors to identify and grow opportunities within various territories.
• Responsible for accurately forecasting and delivering on projected client revenue.
• Increase revenue and profitability through account growth, contract renewals and/or streamlined.
• Foster client relationships and develop data-driven marketing strategy for a variety of clients and projects.
• Provide the day-to-day marketing planning, development and execution for a suite of clients.
• Draft creative/strategy briefs; facilitate project debriefs.
• Partner with agency team members to shepherd projects from conception to completion.
• Drive campaign reviews and filter and translate client feedback.
• Partner with business development to draft proposals and budgets for new business.
• Mentor less experienced account executives.
• Collaborate with FinOps and Producers to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Assist in meeting agency KPI’s and revenue goals.
• Responsible for management of annual client marketing budgets, as well as identifying up-sell opportunities to drive additional revenue.
• Understands and interprets financial results relative to P&L and revenue.
REQUIREMENTS:
7+ years relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications preferred
Superior client services communication skills
Experience using marketing workflow management tools
Strong analytical capabilities with knowledge of database marketing and analytics
Experience managing performance of junior staff members
Intermediate level experience in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
