Marketing Account Manager
REMOTE POSITION
TRAVEL WITHIN SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA AND SOUTH JERSEY WHEN NEEDED
Our client, a national energy company, is looking for a marketing account manager to join their company in a freelance to hire position. In this role the qualified candidate will create and present marketing ideas, plan and project manage campaign lifecycle while interfacing with a dedicated client base.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with Business Development, Program teams and Program Directors to identify and grow opportunities within various territories.
• Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly results and annual forecasts) including interpreting data analytics.
• Nurture new business with existing clients, identify areas of improvement to meet revenue targets and/or recommend new and innovative marketing tactics, channels or service line services.
• Develop an understanding of market nuances relating to assigned client group (relating to marketing: competitive landscape, top performing strategies and tactics, consumer demand, etc.).
• Collaborate with senior account managers to provide the day-to-day marketing planning, development and execution for a suite of clients.
• Draft creative/strategy briefs.
• Partner with Producers to shepherd projects from conception to completion.
• Participate in campaign reviews and filter and translate client feedback.
• Collaborate with FinOps and Producers to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Manage project code set up and project resource allocation.
• Responsible for favorable financial outcomes on assigned accounts.
• Ability to develop sound marketing strategies/plans on small accounts under their management.
• Contributes to marketing strategy on larger accounts with oversight.
• Support implementation of B2B and B2C outreach campaigns, sales tools, events and other marketing deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years relevant experience
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications preferred
* Strong communication skills
* Proofreading and editing skills
* Able to collaborate with other marketing and creative team members
* Intermediate level experience in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
