The Strategic Communications team is looking for a Strategic Communications Senior Specialist to support the development and execution of critical communications related to the Investment Group. This includes creating rapid response communications and developing foundational messaging that describes some core aspects of our client and our position in the industry.  SC is a nimble and highly collaborative team in need of a strong strategic thinker to help identify topics, craft compelling and comprehensive messaging and content in support of strategic priorities, breaking news and emerging topics, as well as foundational needs. Given Strategic Communication’s global mandate, this role provides the opportunity to work closely with key partners across the organization on a broad range of topics spanning different businesses.


Develop communications strategies with a company-wide perspective to enable strategic business outcomes. Lead the communication development, operation, delivery, and measurement across a variety of business needs.
Protect Company’s reputation through all communications across various channels and platforms. Lead communication consultants to proactively source and deliver business-critical communications.
Partner closely with senior leaders to advise and develop communications strategies and ensures messaging is integrated and aligned across communications channels. Provide strategic communications counsel for executive leaders.
Drive the development of communication agendas with high-quality communications material across a variety of formats, platforms and channels. Drive the development of new channels as appropriate.
Drive the impact of the collective communication strategy. Ensure the execution of all phases of the communications process, including conception, implementation, and measurement. Push the team to measure communications progress and opportunities
Balance external practice with internal brand. Serve as Company’s authority on industry best practices, emerging trends, and their validity in Company’s environment and culture to encourage adoption as appropriate.
Develop and strengthen working relationships with key influencers and executives across the organization and in the industry to support communications and business objectives.
Spearhead continuous improvements in Company’s communication strategy and implementation. Measure and monitor client satisfaction and makes recommendations based on feedback gathered from various sources.
Influence communications prioritization, sequencing, and message alignment across the enterprise.


Minimum ten years related work experience; eight years Communications experience preferred.
Working knowledge of the financial advice/retirement/asset management space
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
