Our life science corporate client provides clinical researchers with the technology necessary to chase the next breakthrough in public health.  Due to growth, they are searching for a copywriter to join the marketing team.  The ideal candidate will possess a superpower for distilling complex concepts and frameworks and translating acronym-laden, technology jargon into approachable, plain language and human-centered messaging that reinforces our brand at every touchpoint and compels action in the intended audience.

* Develop, write, and edit marketing-promotional content for traditional and digital channels including email marketing campaigns, web content, social media posts, trade show exhibitory, direct mail, video scripts, and customer communications.

* Conduct or participate in interviews with colleagues, customers, and partners to develop unique stories that showcase our solutions and services

* Develop promotional content and scripts and presentation content for webinars and podcasts and other thought leadership content, in consultation with subject-matter-experts

* Help scale and mature our long-form editorial practice for thought leadership efforts while identifying and executing new ways to amplify the stories we tell

* Apply a test and learn copywriting approach with the ability to first define goals then experiment, fine tune and iterate toward success, leveraging data available from HubSpot, Google Studio and other sources

* Partner across our Copywriting function to build, refine, and steward our brand writing standards, production templates, and production workflows

* Proofread content and presentations created by Marketing colleagues for alignment to company’s writing style guides and brand standards

*5+ years’ experience writing brand-focused copy

*Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, or relevant work experience

*Required to participate in frequent meetings using virtual technology like Google Meet or Zoom

*A strong portfolio and a proven track record of delivering high-quality content at scale in a business-to-business marketing environment

*Proven ability to synthesize complex information into compelling, persuasive messaging

*Expertise in complex messaging hierarchies that translate across traditional and digital platforms, channels, verticals, and segments

*Impeccable English grammar, punctuation, and spelling

*Hyper-organized with a strong attention to detail

*Highly collaborative with the affinity to build relationships

*Ability to exercise agility within a rapidly growing organization and client base
